Be looking for the announcement of the groundbreaking ceremony and installation of the Peace Pole when school starts in 2010. We can always use parents with an interest in gardening, landscaping, environmental sciences and careers, etc ... to help out! District 205 Foundation
- Funds totaling $6,750
- This grant provides initial funding for an ecological and environmental teaching and learning project designed to enhance student, staff and community connections while creating a natural green space and common outdoor area for students. The focus of this grant is on the creation of a Diversity Garden that will celebrate, emphasize and remind the students of their diverse community while providing both academic and social learning opportunities through the hands-on experience of planning, implementing and maintaining the space.

DuPage Community Foundation
- Funds totaling $3000
- Covers the approximate costs of restoring the prairie (removing invasive growth and replacing with new plant matter)
