The 6th-grade Social at Windy City Ninjas was a HUGE success! Close to 70 kids were in attendance and had a great time jumping, climbing and swinging with their classmates!

Attention all 7th graders! The annual 7th-grade Tailgate is coming to the Churchville gym on Friday, Nov 16 from 5:30-6:45 pm! Come and hang with your friends, then stay for the Marsha Amerio student/faculty basketball game immediately following! CALLING ALL CHURCHVILLE 8TH GRADERS! GET READY TO GET YOUR JUMP ON AT SKYZONE!
- Where: Elmhurst SkyZone, 325 W. Lake Street
- When: Sunday, November 4, 1:30–3:30 pm (jump time is 2-3:30; please arrive at 1:30 for check in)
- Cost: $4 at the door (remainder of fee donated by PTA)
All jumpers MUST have a valid, up to date waiver filled out by a parent or legal guardian in order to jump. Waivers can be filled out on our website prior to arrival by following this link (select MYSELF & CHILD): https://elmhurststore.skyzone.com/waiver/
Jump time is 2–3:30. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to jump time to check in. All jumpers must wear SkySocks on our trampolines. These socks are included in your jump ticket and do not need to be purchased separately. We hope you can join your classmates at this fun event!

The Churchville Charge, AN AMAZING RACE FOR AN AMAZING SCHOOL, is coming August 25, 2018!
The 6th Annual Churchville Charge is back in downtown Elmhurst on Saturday, August 25, 2018! The race features teams of four adults racing around downtown Elmhurst completing fun challenges, all to raise funds for Churchville Middle School. The race begins at 4 p.m. and ends with a huge after-party celebration.
If you don't want to race, but still want to get in on the fun, you can attend the after party at Fitz's Spare Keys, with food, music and more, for just $10 a person. Click HERE to buy your tickets to the party, or to donate to The Charge! Any amount you donate will help fund amazing programs for your kids in the coming school year!

Churchville PTA hosts an Honor Roll breakfast twice a year in recognition of the hard work and achievement of Churchville's Honor Roll students.
Students achieving honor roll status in 4th quarter of prior year and/or 1st quarter of current year will be recognized at a breakfast in November. Those achieving honor roll status in the 2nd and/or 3rd quarter, as well as those who have shown strong academic growth in the current school year, will celebrate at a breakfast in April.

2018-19 Theme: "Heroes Around Me"
Deadline: Projects due to Churchville office by November 12
Students may submit an entry in any of the six arts areas listed below. Only original works of art are accepted. It does not matter whether an entry created for the Reflections Program has been created as a classroom assignment or independently at home. Once judged at the local level, the winners go on to the council and/or district judging. Those winners go to the Illinois PTA to receive recognition. Select projects will advance from the state level to the National PTA level.
The six arts areas are as follows: Dance Choreography; Film/Video Production; Literature; Music Composition; Photography; Visual Arts. There is also a Special Artist Division, which is an option for students with disabilities who receive services under IDEA or Section 504 to have the opportunity and accommodations they may need in order to participate fully in the program.

Social Dance is a 6-week dance class for 7th- & 8th-grade students where students learn classic dance moves from a professional instructor playing today's popular music. This highly popular class is held on Friday nights (see dates and locations below). Last year Social Dance was attended by nearly 100 students and the program is a favorite of students and parents alike.
All Social Dance classes for 2018 will take place at Conrad Fisher Elementary School.
Dates: 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14 (parents and guardians are invited to attend the last 30 minutes of this final class to see what the students have learned and to share a dance with their child)
Cost: $61.00 per student (check made payable to: "Let's Dance")
Registration and fee are due by October 19, 2018 to your child's homeroom teacher.
Teacher Appreciation Week will be May 6-May 10, 2019! Help show your appreciation for Churchville’s fine teaching staff and administration by helping provide baked goods and other needed items as requested by committee chairs. The Teacher appreciation committee provides support for the staff when they return to school, during Parent Teacher Conferences, and during Teacher Appreciation Week.
